Lack of trust divides Americans over issues of politics, race, ethnicity, religion, and around social issues. It keeps us from doing big things together and being our best as a country.
But trust can be built. It’s happening in cities and towns, on university campuses and in the workplace. People of all backgrounds are stepping out to become trustbuilders.
Civility is important, but it’s just a beginning. Trustbuilding starts with the still small voice in our own lives and responding to it in our relationships and actions. Trustbuilding means honest conversation, acknowledgment of injustices and wrongs, apology, and a commitment to work together for a future of hope and opportunity for all. Trust releases energy for us to tackle great challenges facing America: the economy, environment, energy, education, healthcare, and immigration.
Through collaboration among like-minded organizations The Trust Factor offers speakers, workshops, and skills-building opportunities that inspire, equip, and engage individuals as trustbuilders.
