Message from the Directors
“For 70 years, IofC has called individuals and communities towards the fulfillment of their humanity. It has offered life-changing principles and practices. It has connected estranged peoples. It has facilitated the growth of relationships that ‘remake the world.’
“Today—how can IofC support you, your family, your organization and your community to initiate positive changes? That is its sole purpose. It is also mine.”
Don Cowles, Executive Director
“People everywhere want to feel that they can make a positive difference in the world. I believe that IofC stands at a moment of great opportunity because it provides the vital link between personal values and public action. This spiritual movement for social change shows that change in people, and in relationships, is the surest basis on which to heal historical wounds and build a future that meets the needs of all.
"We continue to need honest conversations in this country about how to connect our increasingly diverse communities across differences of race, class, religion and culture. IofC nurtures healthy, inclusive communities that offer hope, reconciliation and transformation. This task demands the best of everyone.”
Rob Corcoran, National Director
