Initiatives of Change seeks to inspire, equip and engage individuals in building trust in America. It develops and strengthens the inner personal resources and the practical skills needed to engage with the issues that divide us, and become effective reconcilers and trustbuilders. It focuses on the role of the individual, the engagement of diverse teams and their impact on society.

• Inspire … individuals to examine where change is needed in their own lives and communities. Public forums, national speakers and publications help others learn more about personal and social change.
• Equip … emerging leaders by offering leadership formation and increasing the capacity of local networks to take action. Skills training, team building and hands on community work are steps in developing effective change agents for community change.
• Engage … trustbuilders at each level of society to forge new relationships and partnerships. Internships, fellowships and volunteer opportunities connect committed changemakers to the communities where their efforts are most needed.

Together these efforts build a network of individuals capable of laying the foundations of trust for more just and equitable partnerships.

Programs include forums, conferences, and dialogues which attract thousands of participants each year. Training programs have graduated more than 600 participants over the past two decades. Internships and fellowships connect committed changemakers to the communities where there efforts are most needed.
